Badu

“Badu is Manu Falcão’s work in ceramics. The organic, delicate jewelry is given form entirely by hand. Keeping a close eye on the artist’s process, we designed the visual identity and packaging for the brand. In addition, we produced the photography for the e-commerce which showcased the 2015’s year-end collection.”

KittoKatsu

“KittoKatsu Corporate Identity Just like the name of our agency, the look of KittoKatsu (キ ッ ト カ ツ = Japanese for ”You’ll win!”) Is inspired by Japanese aesthetics. Even more than that, the Identity should convey a positive feeling and stand out from the usual coolness in the agency world. The color palettes and layouts of the Identity are restrained and clearly structured. In contrast to this is the playful logo, which expresses the idea of ”winning together with us” and so perfectly communicates our promise to our customers. We also coordinated the office interior. The light-flooded workspaces open into each other and are separated only by a Japanese-inspired sliding glass door. The workspace is determined by the variable Hay New Order office system, which creates a contemporary look through its graphic shapes and colors. The straightforwardness is captured by airy wooden elements in the room, such as the Japanese tobacco-inspired sideboard or the shoji-imitated wooden partitions, which we designed especially for the office and put together with a local carpenter. Small details such as the fire-red Artek Kiki Sofa or the collection of Japanese figures bring the brand color of Kitto Katsu into the room and create a playful and lively counterweight to the otherwise straight lines and simple shapes.”

Cloud & Co.

“Cloud & Co. is a traditional gelato store located in Qatar. We designed an identity that would differentiate C & Co. of all ice cream shops and gelato stores while seducing consumers with this new gelato culture.

“Taking as inspiration the impossible scenes of Escher, we create illustrations where everything is possible, where your dreams come true, where things without sense are the norm. A fantastic world of pastel skies and cotton candy clouds. We also use geometric figures and eye catching colors, that combined with a minimalist but fun logo, that complements the intricate illustrations.

“Cloud & Co, gelato better than your dreams.”

Monjecitos

“Monjecitos is a brand of liquid yeast for the manufacture of craft beer. A brand that cares about the quality of its product, since yeast is the factor that most affects the quality of this drink.

“We created a brand with a clean, structured and concise design. We rely on infographic elements that facilitate the visualization of relevant information about the product, making its reading efficient. The final consumer will know that they are acquiring a high quality product and that it was manufactured in a professional manner. It is possible to communicate that it is a fresh, aseptic product without falling into scientific image. For packaging, we use tubes and glass bottles that greatly improve the aesthetics of the brand. They convey modernity, confidence, quality and a sense of chemical technology.

“We decided to create an illustration inspired by Mexican engraving. It is highlighted that it is an inveterate product of Mexican origin. In addition, it creates an interesting contrast with the rest of the identity, turning it into a dynamic brand: handmade product but created in a controlled and clean space. We also designed a simpler icon that includes all these elements in a concise and straightforward way.

“Monjecitos, exceptional yeasts for extraordinary drinks.”

“The optics salon from Bryansk, which does not differ from the same ones, had been given a new life – a new and effective brand. Our task was to develop a brand that would be concise and understandable, without additional associations, favorably different from other brands of optics salons.

“All of this: naming, logo, pattern, design of business cards, boxes for glasses (adults and children), tags – together gives an excellent result – an attractive and memorable brand.”

Hotel Rum

Hotel Rum is a perfect hideaway in the city center of Budapest. As a boutique hotel it fully exploits the intimate atmosphere of a small scale housing estate and creates a whole new universe on the dreamy streets of Budapest. The early eclectic, neo-renaissance building designed by Imre Steindl (famous for the Hungarian Parliament Building) offers uniquely furbished rooms, packed with custom-made design pieces across six storeys. The floors are connected with a steep concentric staircase, which is one of the main characteristics of the building.

The graphic identity works along with the architecture and the main elements give a special atmosphere for the building itself. The graphic signs and symbols assist the orientation across the building so they have to be highly functional and above all fulfill safety requirements. For this reason we used a simplistic signage system with powerful, dynamic numbers. They appear on the walls in a black and white contrast and in a golden version as well. Other public information signs show up in every common area and guide through with fluorescent paint in the dark. On every floor bass room numbers embellish the doorways. This results in a quite glamorous but quirky atmosphere which respects the architectural structure yet gives a hint of fresh contemporary design.

The other essential part of the identity is the Rum Hotel logo, in which the clean geometrical lines refer to the black metal furniture used all across the rooms. Each room is equipped with skincare products which are coming in a custom made package design featuring the logo. For every resident there is a stationary package with a business card awaiting on the table. The frame of the R letter in the logo is used independently as well so the empty diamond shape works as a substitute logo and a playful sign across the building and in varied part of the graphic identity.
