Le Grand Spa

“Part of the Le Grand Bellevue luxury hotel in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Le Grand Spa is a wellness sanctuary on 3000 nm². Offering restorative spa treatments and thermal experiences along with energizing fitness services, it is the most extensive spa in the region equipped with an array of rejuvenating facilities. With its exquisite chic and eclectic style the spa encapsulates the essence of the Le Grand Bellevue’s approach to health and wellness.

“The brand identity manual was given since the beginning of our contribution so we had to adjust our whole proposal to an existing visual environment. We handled this minimalistic style with respect however added some vitalising details namely one of our speciality, the manual gestures. The elegant style was brought to life with delicate pen drawings of mountain herbs like edelweiss or stemless gentian.

“As a counterbalance to the modest graphic details we delved into premium printing technology for visual indulgence. The paper in lichen-green and off-white colours are the products of Favini company propagating natural fibre based papers worldwide. Incredible Letterpress, a frequent collaborator of ours is in charge of all the high-end letterpress technics used in the Le Grand Spa identity design work.”

“Founded by three trained chefs with many years of experience in the business, we worked closely with them to develop a name and visual identity that was applied across signage, packaging, printed menus and website. The outcome is refined and welcoming — perfect for daily commuters, lunch break masses and posh private events.”

Pikcells

“Pikcells are a design driven CGI studio, with offices in England and America. They have produced work for brands such as Wren Kitchens, Homebase, Kronospan and Hotpoint. Their work is full of rich detail and a great deal of innovation — they wanted to reposition their brand to reflect the more design driven aspect of their business.

“To highlight the focus on design and detail, we produced an icon based upon a 3D axis. This can then be used as a watermark on their images, or be replicated to make patterns and represent a feeling of space. The flexible use will always be associated with the precision of their work. The roll out of the new brand included a new website, stationery and a brochure.

“A tactile and precise finish to printed items was also required to reflect their meticulous high quality. A new brochure was produced that presented selected projects, but it also doubled as a sketchbook. By doing so all staff members have a tool to work and showcase from — a vital asset to show just how far a sketch can be taken.”

Nordlead

“The main goal in establishing NORDGAIN graphic identity is to make the brand feel flexible, modern and professional. Colour gradient is based on the idea of never ending growth, the desire of reaching desired goals and stiving towards accomplishments. The choice of blue colour represents trustworthiness and a sense of a secure and responsible establishment. The light and seemingly weightless typography makes a great combination with the colour gradient and a minimalist sans serif logotype. Both elements represent high quality service without losing the warm approach toward the clients.”

DOER

“Doer is a store that specialises in home improvement products, tools and hardware. For this project, the client approached us looking for a friendly, clean and modern design, so we created a versatile icon system that can be used throughout the different bran peripherals. For the logo, we used a sans-serif typography with perfect circular details. It was very important for the brand to easily be recognised by the consumer as a place where they can find everything they need for their projects.”

PATAGRANDE

“A tribute to those who travelled our country, Mexico, in order to reconquer the origins of mezcal. We created a clean and elegant brand with a touch of mysticism, exalting the pleasure of drinking a good mezcal. The name PATAGRANDE derives from an ancient legend, we wanted to own it by creating a figure inspired in alebrijes and Mexican creatures, where the explorers encountered them during their travels before finding the elixir. In the brand, we appreciate elements of exploration that emphasize the history, as well as the examination of discovering the best mezcal.”
