Museum of Broken Relationships

“The Museum of Broken Relationships is a entity that first came to life as a temporary exhibition that traveled around the globe. It wasn’t until 2010 that The Museum of Broken Relationships got its brick and mortar version in Zagreb, Croatia. 2016 marked the inauguration of its Los Angeles branch, located right in the pulse of the city of dreams and broken hearts, a popular and strategic location that communicates the universality of the museum’s theme.

“Savvy Studio was chosen to rebrand the museum with the mission of tropicalizing its identity to fit the lifestyle and culture of a North American audience without sacrificing the raw emotional essence of the original identity.

“The museum showcases a collection of items, each one telling a very personal relationship story, allowing the owner express his or herself, and get some much needed closure, while provoking feelings of empathy and nostalgia on those viewing his or her piece.”

Envoy Hotel

“Embodying the trailblazing spirit of Boston’s newly coined “Innovation District”, The Envoy Hotel opens it’s doors as a bold and welcoming host in the seaport district. Korn Design, working closely with ownership and the management team, led the evolution of this property, pioneering an immersive brand experience true to the Envoy’s abiding watchwords, “This Way Forward. ” Serving as both a rally cry for the creative community it serves, it simultaneously calls out a welcoming cry to the inspiring neighborhood it calls home.”

Cusp

“We were beyond elated when we were approached by Kimpton Hotels to help develop the restaurant in their newest location in Hotel La Jolla, Cusp. Their new space was designed by famed designer, Gulla Jonsdottir. It was sleek with a neutral color palette and an emphasis on textures, so the vibrant colors of the iconic La Jolla sunsets could be showcased and framed in the most beautiful way. Our collateral for Cusp complimented Gulla’s thirst for texture, using stained birch wood bar covers, pale and a grey-blue flock of seagulls on the left side. Clean, legible type with minimal flourishes finishes the look. Cusp’s approach to fresh flavors and exquisite views is an effortless and natural brand experience. It lets the ocean and the cuisine take center stage while the decor and collateral help guide the attention of the customer.”

“Suja comes from the Hindi word for long, beautiful life or well-born. So when it came time to represent Suja in logo, we developed an abstract image of a person in lotus position. This position helps both body and mind, by stimulating abdominal organs and expanding your mind through a meditative state.Then we encased it in a drop/leaf, expressing growth & liquid. Using clean lines and a lower case, friendly font, we’re able to express the company’s zen,
